I've just come back from a holiday in cornwall... I shot mostly with film, but did take a few photos with a camera I have on loan from Leica at the mo - the "M edition 60" - Its quite a special bit of kit, I can tell you ... anyway, this is my fave shot I took with it

It is film like isn't it .. I've done nothing to the file but for some very minor exposure adjustment. Same for all those on Flickr... It has a "look" this camera

Wow, over 10 Grand, that's expensive. Is that what it takes to make digital look like film? It's a fine image, for sure, but I've seen you do as well with various film cameras at a fraction of the price. But I can well imagine having the Leica in hand, and getting persuaded by its beautiful engineering. Something devilish in it!

Anyway, as Pete said nicely timed, H. The red fence makes you do a double-take to figure out what you're looking at. Nice one.

£12,000 ...
Mental isn't it! I wouldn't buy one for the photos it takes, they might be nice, but they aren't as nice as just shooting with portra.
What's compelling is the user experience, it's a digital camera with just an ISO dial and shutter speed dial. It doesn't even have a screen, and has no other buttons than the shutter.
12k is out of my reach... Though I'm quite reliably told they are thinking of a more "normal" priced version.
The m60 I have is no. 064 of a limited run of 600 made to celebrate the 60 years since the m3

I'd order two. Just in case one breaks down when out on a shoot. Good to have a backup.
