Essences

Interesting Rob. At first I was going to say that the first two worked best and that I really liked number 2 but the more I look at the last shot, the more I like it. I's almost be tempted to get rid of the more distinct flower at the top even and just go with the essence of daff! In some ways these are reminiscent of Paul's textile shots but far more ethereal. I like where this is going a lot. Shake that camera! ;)

Actually, the one you haven't mentioned, the third, is my favourite. But I'll have a think and a play with your idea for the last - though I quite like the Wizard with his staff...;)

Hi Rob, Not that these have much of a connection to your photographs other than they are of flowers I thought you might enjoy them

I think they have known that for some time Paul, the new question is, are you safe?! ;)

Well, I did hear whispered mentions of a padded dark room. At the time I thought they were planning a truly excellent gift but now I am not so sure.

Thanks for the link, Paul - blew my stuff out of the water! Amazing. I had thought of using a glass water tank, but that takes too much planning - you know, filling a tank with water and putting flowers in - way too much effort!

Thanks, Peter. Sometimes I feel like I'm your evil twin, doing all these demented flower shots, while you take such care to get a beautiful, more natural shot.

OIS not working then Rob? ;)
