That really is way less than amazon etc:

This particular model does not transfer Raw files, only JPEG and Video.

Ideal if you dont shoot raw and have a compatible Camera.

There is a compatibility page here:

The bargain eye fi card arrived and works perfectly in my Canon SX220HS and Fuji F70 EXR.
I wish I had bought two as they went out of stock quickly....

I do like a bargain :D

yes, in real time as long as you are in range of your own wifi network or any other you have set up the password for.

As soon as you shoot it connects and starts uploading.

If you are away from home it will connect when within range again (take a test picture at home to wake it up if it does not appear to be connecting on the return home.)

I also have the 'pro' version of the eye-fi in my Canon 60D as that works with the RAW files.

An example of the Pro price can be seen on amazon.

Always check your camera supports them before ordering.

It's tethered shooting without the wires :)

The 'endless' memory mode is useful as you set how much space to keep available on the card and it automatically deletes photos that have been uploaded so you never need to format or delete again.

Multiple cards can be registered with the same account on your PC and each card can have it's own destination folder so each camera stores photos in its own folder if that is how you like them organised.

I really like the eye-fi cards as card readers and wires are so last century ;)

Do you use lightroom "auto import"
I use it with tethered capture ... I imagine it would be pretty nifty wireless and certainly look the biz in a studio environment!

Speaking of which ... We are signing a lease for our new office space and studio tomorrow ... So you will have to come see us when we are set up, show me some of your tricks :)
