Yeah, I suppose it depends on the circumstances and what the intention is of the shot.
There's not much farmland countryside that doesn't have a pylon somewhere or another.

Well Mr Betjamen was certainly not keen on them (John Betjeman.com). I actually quite like to see them 'striding' across the landscape and can add an interesting dimension to images, as it does in yours.
