That was interesting (a enjoyable) Rob, thanks. You know, what surprises me is that you can tolerate the time delay between taking a shot with film and getting the results back. With a new guitar, you can just sit down and hear what it's like straight away - a bit like a digital camera. With film, it is like playing your new guitar and waiting until the record has been pressed to see what it sounded like! Actually I know that analogy breaks quite quickly as soon as you think about it at all. The image should be in your head. The difference between film and digital is just the way / time difference until you see it realised.

No, they are ridiculously cheap for the amount of work that goes into them. It's a hobby for the maker, and he sells them a traditional music festivals in the States. You should get yourself one ;-)
