Of course I was joking, but you already know that. Looking back at my old photos, I too came across pictures of this kind. Water is able to take on so many different forms that it always manages to amaze you. But in my opinion, the wonder of flat ice, however rich in detail, is difficult to render in photography, perhaps because it has to be enjoyed in 3D, with two eyes triangulating, not with the single point of view of a single lens.
I agree with Brian, excellent spotting! It´s funny how we see faces and shapes in all sorts of objects, sometimes in linoleum floors, even in wallpaper structures. Or in ice. Or here...
It’s one thing taking a funny photo, but you have to come up with a title to match. Finding Nemo Frozen sprang to mind at the time, possibly even before taking the shot, certainly around the same time. I think. It was a decade ago.
