got the lens back the other day, it's the same as when i sent it. I had a play with the micro focus on the 7D and got from sharp at 6.3 before to sharp at 4.5 and 2.8 - 4.0 a lot better. The above was shot on the 400mm with a 1.4x converter at f7.1
