On a roll Steve - #1 and #4 especially, and loving #2 as a B&W

Absolutely. Brilliant set Steve.

The shape of the fire hydrant works so well with the corn behind and contrasts brilliantly with the 3 bands of colour behind.
Choosing to render the electricity poles in B&W works very well I think and emphasises the graphic elements in the image and the composition retains the mystery of where they go.
The blank blue sign and arrow is another of your great observational shots I think (you must have an impressive collection by now (eBook, photobook?).
And finally the wheat and cloud. Superbly simple. Possibly even my favourite of the set.

Oddly enough... I was thinking of a book too. One of accent colour observations :)

I really like especially the first two, Steve. The first has your sense of humor.
