First shots from my 3d printed 6x17

Since I had good results from my resin printed 6x12 camera, I made a fdm printed 6x17. I screwed up the first shot. I have a small light leak I need to address - but the camera does work.

Interesting, can you tell more about how this camera is made (design), what focal length is used and is the lens interchangeable, how do you determine the image crop for 6x17 (no viewfinder visible) and can I also read something somewhere about the 6x12 camera that is mentioned?

Sure, both my 6x17 and 6x12 were made off this design : https://www.printables.com/model/99364-open-6x12-6x17-and-6x24-panoramic-camera

The lens I use for both is a Schneider Kreuznach 9100mmF8 Super Angulon (large format.) I had to modify the "lens cone" to get the focal length correct as the files are designed for some other lenses.

The designer of the camera has made the lens cones swappable - but I don't bother as it isn't super convenient as different lenses would be different focal distances, and that means a different lens cone for each lens.

I use a cell phone app to get my framing (Film Photography Viewfinder for android,) and since the lens is fixed I shoot at F22-45. There are designs that include a helicoid for different focusing, so that may be an upgrade later down the road.

Here is the thread for the 6x12 and whatnot.
