Really pleasing colours.

I have an X-Pro 1, and shoot jpeg + RAW; often I simply have no improvements to make on the jpegs. When I do it's generally just tweaks. The files can handle being printed large too.

I'm glad you are happy.

My favorite is Mr Incredible.

I'm sure it has been said many times before on here but the best camera is the one that you use and suits you needs. I think that high quality compacts are just perfect for travel, I throw mine in my travel bag all the time and it causes no inconvenience at all. Took my SLR a few times and it was just a pain in the arse especially if I had to do quite a bit of moving around.

Funny thing is I can imagine that people probably said the same about medium format after 35mm was invented. We are probably just spoiled.

Right.
What I've also discovered with this camera is that it excels well beyond the lightweight travel role. It's a joy to use, but what really strikes me is the quality, and particularly the character of the files. Many things that were default DSLR territory for me are easily handles by this camera and it's superb lenses. I'm pleasantly surprised. Of course I'm referring to the X-Pro 1 and not the XF.

I'm still liking Mr Incredible. I have Toy Story's Woody atop my computer tower. Maybe they need to hang out...

Well, I think the lens is a little harsh, but for a very small point and shoot, not bad, and things can be adjusted in pp.

Hi Woody! Mr Inc. says hello. ;)

Looking good Rob - certainly does the job as a take anywhere camera - impressive close focus

He needs dusted down, that's for sure. I might try something along the lines you have been doing with the robots, Beth. There you are - influencing people across the globe :)

Nice Rob, they look spot on!
These pocket cameras become well used, my rx100 looks like its been through the wars! But I am literally never without it ... Even if I do use a film camera more at the mo. the rx100 is like a security blanket, I always know its there ready to go!

Ahhh. That's my friend Wile E. Coyote. He's an inspiration, because though he's not the brightest, he never gives up (which isn't too bright if you think about it). Kind of like me...
