first snow in Tokyo

Excellent stuff Peter. Was it spontaneous (which it looks) or posed? It looks like we're in for a bit of a bonanza of snowy shots; the UK is forecast heavy snow and it is snowing lightly here in Potsdam with more forecast. That bunch out in California must be feeling a bit left out (unless they head for the hills!). ;)

completely natural. the af was dithering because of the snow swirling around, but that was the only sharp shot

What a great moment captured - and that lovely pop of color as well

I wish I could get out to get some snowy shots the hill that is Meir we have snow up to the bottom of the door of our Scenic so its stuck in the drive and I'm not going to try and get out with the only camera Ive got here that works (my old S2500) and walk through nearly a foot of snow to take a few pictures now if I had my new camera I might have tried a bit (lot) harder we are technicly snowed in

Don't think your the only ones suffereing the frigid effects of inclement weather, Pete. It's been very very cold here lately. Why, this morning it didn't get iup to 70 until about 10 am. (Although I'm sure Chris is pretty comfy, since its always warmer down south where he is.);)

Life must be so difficult for you right now Brian :)
That's a lovely sentiment Paul. Thank you. But don't worry about us, we'll be fine. (They say its going to be a bit warmer this weekend. Its supposed to get up to 81 in the Los Angeles area, but I'm nearer the water so we won't get up quite that high,...probably only to about 78; but we'll keep our sweaters and cardigans handy.) Thanks again, Paul.
