The second and forth are my favourite out of these but that is not to say the others are bad, not at all. I presume from the title these chains have something to do with lifting crates of fish from boats? Hopefully they are not from your dungeon!

Superb. Those B&W shots have come out beautifully and the last one is just stunning. I do like the out of focus elements.

Nope dungeon's Paul, only for the invited of course and not the squeamish. Occasionally yes I lend them to the fish co-op, who use them to hoist the fish boxes onto the quay side

Thank you Lesley. It is one of many of these chains on the floor I've done over the year. So practised at it. Although I only got two shots of before a boat came along side to land, then use the winch.
The skipper actually asked me if it was ok to use them as I had the camera on the tripod. Made me smile and of course they needed to get on, and they belong to the fishermen. I do sometimes wonder if they get fed up
of me on the quay photographing all the going's on on the harbour a lot of the time.
