Four Doos

Wow, Brian, that's top dollar, I really like this :)

What a great composition Brian (and why does Abba spring to mind?!). So, are the other two don'ts then?! ;) And I'm always pleased when there's a couple of drums in a shot.

I know you have others but do you find the WLF affects the way you compose?

Well-spooted doos, Brian! Ha, my spellchecker changed that to coos...
It was a good day for doo spooting.:p

Coos are a different species, Rob. You can tell the difference between a doo and a coo because one can fly. (Wee bit harder wi' pigs, though.) :p

Thanks, Rob! :)

Maybe its because you haven't come out as a Swede yet, Pete? :p

In fact, Mr. CS Smarty Pants, the others actually don't don't. They dinnae! :p

"WLF,"...? Ha! You have to get up pretty early in the morning to get an acronym past me! But you nearly did it! (Again.)[doh]

I find that the,... ahem,... "WLF", does indeed affect the way I compose. First, it's all reversed, so I do a lot more side-to-side landscape sweeps while muttering subtle correction advice to myself such as, "other way eejit."[doh]

But really the main thing is that I just take more time to compose. Side-to-side/up and doon, to get a pleasing comp. And also, because the OOF is so pleasant with this lens, I'm really enjoying bringing things into and out of focus while peering into the ground glass. Also, close ups have to be framed more carefully because of the parallax error. And finally, it may just be a novelty for me at the moment, but focusing and using the WLF is just more fun.

Thank you, Pete!
