For those of you based here in the Americas, the PBS series "Independent Lens" will tonight broadcast a feature on photographer Francesca Woodman. Check your local stations.
Now that I would have liked to have seen. I've just bought a copy of the book on her by David Levi-Stauss. I like her work a lot and a documentary would be interesting I should think.
Thanks for the comments, Chris. I haven't seen it yet. (The PBS website indicated it was going to be broadcast on the 22nd, but on my local PBS station didn't show it until yesterday.) However, last night's viewing was reserved for Elf, so I've recorded recorded the Woodman doc. Probably I'll watch it tonight.
I'm guessing the blur was was forced on PBS by those hypocritical Puritans at the FCC, and not by the film maker? (At least I'd hope that was the case!)
