I've been here before, I often re visit and often it does not disappoint as it is a hive of activity around the boat builders yard. As seen Peter Moor is well adept at corking whilst lying prone, working on Peter and Chris Blamey's , long looked for and now found leak.
A lovely series with a very important documentary significance and for me, a revisit to a place where I would have liked to spend more time to make my images and preservations of impressions. By the way Julian, how much time did they have at their disposal? Very well done Julian.

Thank you Ivar. As you know I am sure the tides vary, but here the Ebb is on the whole much stronger than the flood, for obvious reasons. I think the skipper said it was a diurnal tide , giving them a little extra time. Not certain of the Actual time but it is quite substantial where the boats pulled up here. Most often the bottom is scrubbed as the tide is ebbing or more likely today a high power washer which gets the barnacles and weed off. All good stuff Ivar, it is good to see a working fishing village, not fully although substantially reliant upon the tourists.
A very nice and interesting series. The first one is very fine. Like the composition, seeing the seaweed the large boat in relation to the others and the man on the ladder being fixed on a small leak.
Interesting writing as well.

A always, Julian, a fascinating series and made all the better because you integrate so well into the activity. The first shot is especially fine. Looking forward to the book!
