I don't really know Pete. I have been playing with the idea of moving back to film again as a serious hobby but can't really justify the expense involved. The Clacton photos have never actually seen the light of day since I filed them away all those years ago.I guess I'll maybe sign my life away to Adobe for Photoshop and stay with digital.

The expensive is steep. All things considered each of the shot out of the new-to-me Rollei ended up costing me about $3 per click. Then there's the whole lag between shooting and experiencing your shots (even if you do your own developing - which I did not this time, hence the $3/shot).

The cost is what keeps me away from film. I always think that my countless digital shots today are a learning experience and that, when I have learned enough to be satisfied, I will be able to afford to have the negatives developed in a lab. As for the delay between taking the shots and viewing my photos, I no longer care; in any case, I no longer look at them immediately because I know it's not worth it.
