The sensor on the early Fujis really does justice with warm pastels- how you liking the adapted lenses?

Good Morning Wes Hall. I like the Fuji sensor(s) as opposed to a Bayer sensor. Those Zeiss are not adapted. Zeiss developed the 'Touit' line of lenses specifically for the Fuji X cameras.

I didn’t realise, though have since looked into the Touit line and wow, some very nice glass there!

Fuji glass is exceptional. I used to shoot Canon. The Fuji X series lenses, per my personal unscientific experience and opinion, is the X series is at its worst ... the equal of Canon L lenses in terms of resolution/sharp and build quality. But ... (the 'Big But') ... the Zeiss does deliver a different ... mmmh ... flavor with their lenses.

Thanks for the opinion Gary, I’m just starting out with a Fuji lens of my own (XF 16mm 2.8f) and coming from a Pentax K-S1 and Foveon systems I’m impressed at the file flexibility for iso range. Time to start a new thread of my own!

Definitely time for a new thread. I, for one, am curious about Foveon versus Fuji.

If you lived around here, I have quite a few Fuji lenses you could try out.
