Fuji X-t1 Wifi To Imac Running Mavericks

I couldn't find a computer forum, so I'll start here.

I have tried unsuccessfully to load Fuji's WIFI link to the iMac. (OS 10.9.2). I download the file from Fuji, install it, it then shows in my applications folder, buy it will not load. Moving it out of the folder to the dock does not improve things. Fuji's web site shows in parenthesis that it is for 10.6 - 10.8. I think there is the fault.

Has anyone completed this on a Mac running this latest version of Apple OS? I can't find an answer on Fuji's site.

Thanks in advance,
Jerry

Hi Jerry - I just downloaded and installed this App under 10.7.5 http://app.fujifilm-dsc.com/en/pc_autosave/download.html

It installed ok, and put an icon in my top right menu bar - do you have the icon there? (see screen shot below)

It does appear in my Applications folder in a new Fuji folder - I just let the installer do it's thing and install where it wanted.

Hi Jerry,

I followed the link Chris gave and, once it had downloaded, ran the install under 10.9.2. All went OK and the service if running. I don't have a camera to test it with but, if your WiFi is switched on on your iMac I think it should work..

Thanks, Chris, for researching that. I have been very busy all week and have not had time to get back to the forum. I do get the ican up in the menu bar, but when firing up the camera, it tell me to change the WIFI in settings. I do that, hit connect while pushing OK on the camera, and the damned iMac goes back to my local network. I am quitting! I like the Remote app. That works fine.

Again, thanks for your help.
Jerry

Actually found it quicker to put a card in the slot, it took ages to transfer the images over via wifi. Its a bit meh tbh, so I cannot see the point.
However the remote app on the ipad is superquick, and is a great idea for showing images to clients.

Jerry, you put an amazing shot in the Photography Showcase, but we can't comment on it there. Could you open up a forum discussion with that image?

Rob, I am still learning how to use the site. It's the weekend, so I have time to try that. Thanks for the compliment!
