Fuji XS1 Video

OK, I won't win any prizes for wildlife cameraman of the year, but here's the first video with my new XS1. The first part is a movie, then some stills. I've added a sneak preview of music from my forthcoming The Bach Uke Book (Mel Bay Publications) of music by and associated with Bach: two famous minuets, long thought to be by Bach, but in fact by his friend Christian Petzold.

Was that hand held Rob? And what sort of processing did you do?

Some of those shots of the swan are super Rob. And I enjoyed the music too!

No, I had it on a cheap tripod, which I need to practice movement with. No pp on the film, but different pp on the shots. I'm finding I am happiest with CS3 for editing, so might develop that with Nik software, rather than going for CS6 Extended, most of which I would never use. I used Vegas Movie Studio 9 to bring the whole video together. It was just an experiment, and I learned a lot from it. Hopefully the next movie will be better.

it's a great video and a good show for the camera... I now have video but have a total lack of inspiration

It will come I like the combination of movement and stills. Might try to integrate them more next time.
