That's very dramatic Brian - love the 'old master' toning

Was this the event you were asking about lenses for?

Thank you, Chris. No,...this is not that event. This is from an event I shot pictures at in February.

The one I was asking advice on lenses for is this week. Just today I rented a 24-70 f2.8 L. I think it should have enough reach for the venue I'll be in.

Good choice - lovely lens - pin sharp even at f/2.8

I like this very much Brian and you have caught a great moment of drama with that look and her hand in motion. Is the watermark a 'feature' of the new hosting site?
Thank you, Pete.

The new hosting site--Zenfolio--allows watermarks and offers some choices but they are very obnoxious, so I made the one you see in PS. I've put it on all the dance shots. I hope you and other RPFrs don't find it pretentious of me for doing so. I've invited a few folks to view the gallery, and at some point I may try to use some of the better dance images to get other shooting opportunities. I just want to offer myself a little protection. (Or at least the illusion of such.)

Do you find the watermark distracting, Pete?

Nice shot, Brian. Makes you wonder what the story is.

Thanks Rob. (I've seen the dance, and I don't know what the story is either. But it was a wonderful dance!)

Excellant Brian. Tastefully erotic...dramatic..intriguing photo.
Thank you, Glenn. Much appreciated.

The watermark is not overly distracting and I can see through it OK. I like the collection on the album and very much like the preceding shot this too. I could imagine it making a good cover for a programme or similar.

Thank you, Pete. (What do you mean--"collection on the album"?)
