What a brilliant selection again, Steve. I especially like the feel and light in the first two and the gigantes washing machines. The trapped birds look suitably unhappy and the watchtower over the family garden is just so odd and intriguing. And I trust you have called that number and asked them to tell you about that tree! :)

The Family Garden place is amazing. There is a sort of sculpture garden made from industrial cranes, et al. I am going to go back there and see if they will let me go in to photograph. It was right up the street from the bus stop. It is a fascinating part of town that is a 15 minute bike ride across the bayou from where I live.

No I just read about it. I am going to watch it this weekend. I found the bus stop, weird metal sculpture salvage yard while looking for Japhet Creek. It's the last natural creek feeding into the Buffalo Bayou. I am hoping to move there. It's like a hippie commune without the bong pipes.......:) See:
