Critique Required Generic Or Original?

I suppose that everybody likes to think that their children are original but it does look like a fairly human standard generic baby to me Two arms, two legs, a head, it even has the correct number of toes assuming that you haven't photoshopped any out?

I like the feet Dan, just the right tones to capture the texture. Nice. If I'm honest though, I'm not keen on the first but then I'm not a parent.

Thanks guys, it seemed very rushed before a feed was due........ By then of course, I was too busy packing down. Lol.

Being the daughter of a very good friend of mine, I don't think I've achieved anything 'original' here, circumstances did not allow me to succeed. Which is a shame, but not unexpected when it comes to doing these kind of shots.
Goes to show that regardless of how well you know an individual/client/friend, it does not parallel the quality of the shots in question.

Its horses for courses though Dan. If they are happy with the photos and what they mean to them then you have been successful.
