Just for Show Getting Wet smoking a Pipe

I went to a local steam rally the other day. It is quite a good environment to use a camera and get shots of people. First shot, sharing an umbrella is not always the best way to keep dry. Second shot I , liked the expression of the pipe smoker.

And that face in #2 - lovely timing, and lovely and sharp. 70-200 f4?

I'd be tempted to try a square crop and loose the guy on the right completely - make it all about the pipe smoker

Yes Chris the f4 non IS version. Always a good lens for strolling around if you have some distance for the shots. The pipe smoker is a very small crop of a larger picture and did not wish to crop further. I know what you mean though as I did crop out figures from the right as was. Just an edit to say about the timing. Not my timing, the character seemed to wear the same stern look at all times.
