Critique Welcomed Ghost Hall

Another somewhat unconventional treatment (at least for me) of the Suntrust Plaza interior in Winter Park, Florida. I have always loved the architecture of this hallway but never captured the spookiness of it empty of people on a weekend morning. Figured I would try a rather heavy-handed application of the Orton effect among other things.

Not sure what the Orton Effect is exactly, although I've heard of it, but whatever it is it doesn't seem to have come off as heavy handed here. This is nice.

Thanks.

The cool thing about the Orton effect (which inspired all these "glow" presets in various plugins) is it is both soft and sharp at the same time, which works exceptionally well on things like the floor tile. I've used it for a number of years on stuff like botanicals and, of course, portraits but recently decided to try it on architecture and certain landscape shots.

Rob has apparently come to the same conclusion because his outstanding staircase shots he just put up have it in spades, to great effect.

looks suitable spooky Keith

Thanks
