Day before yesterday it was snowing...-20 F windchill. This morning...it is 50 F with a fog rolling into the harbor. This is just before sunrise from our window...

Thanks Kev...the mono was pretty much self imposed...there is actually very little color in the shot anyway. It was pretty dark.

Very interesting how selective the fog seems to be. Bow of the ship sharp while the middle and stern seem to have disappeared. Nice shot!

Thanks Ralph. When I first saw it the whole ship was engulfed. By the time I got my camera...maybe 5 secs...the bow emerged. Then it was gone again. I wish I had my camera on the tripod..outside...but...

Woww Glenn, really love this shot. What's the shutter speed did you use to shot the fog? The B&W really works for me

Thanks Aldous. It was 105mm... 1/60... f4.5... iso 1200 through our living room window. The sun wasn't up yet...so it was very dark.
