The main image was taken at the site of what used to be RAF Kelstern in Lincolnshire. The shot of the two Lancasters was taken at what used to be RAF North Cotes, also in Lincolnshire. The dates for them were 2016 and 2014 respectively.
Growing up here I have a huge connection with the aerial past of this county and this is my tribute to the guys who never came home. At a moments notice I would doff my cap in salute.
