Going Fishing

Excellent Rob, like Pete says the timing is impeccable, I took note of the horizon just above the wall the boy is walking along. Nice touch. Second one, superb again with the framing which takes you hither and dither as if the image is moving rather than the eye.

Excellent Rob, I especially liked the look on the lads face.

(Just think if Wee Eck gets his way you will have to use your passport to visit Berwick or even go into quarantine. Just think of all the money you will lose on currency exchange, 4 Eckos to the £!)

Mr Ffordes played a blinder, the box containing Marmite 3 arrived this morning. The Holy Trilogy is alive in deepest Mid-Wales.

No passport would be needed. Mind you, when I was there I heard about the growing movement for Berwick to leave the Union. They're sick of both England AND Scotland. Can't blame them. I might apply for citizenship.

Welcome to the Marmite Club!

Thank you kind sir for the welcome to the Marmiters.

The inhabitants of Berwick have been undecided since 1482, the last time Pickfords did the big move! It is a lovely town and ironic that the Kings Own Scottish Borderers have their Regimental Museum there.

I think we are safe here in Wales unless the Viet-Taff re-arm with automatic daffs.

Great shooting Rob. What makes the first image is catching the boy looking at you. Personally I would prefer to have the boy walking into the picture than walking out of it. But capturing the look compensates to great effect.
Love the minimal composition of the second shot which I think works a treat.

Cheers, Tom. I know what you mean about the placement of the boy, but I prefer where he is for the reason that he was moving at some speed, determined to get to his destination as soon as possible, and moving quicker than his friend. Anyway, I agree that his look makes it.
