Grand union canal near new apartment

Hi all,

I have been away from the site for a bit of time due to moving to an nice apartment (my first property) and have only really just got internet here.

I thought I would take my new lens for a walk so here are some photos:

Cracking set David and how nice to have an inspirational environment so close to hand. I like the second shot and the two monochromes very much indeed. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks I thought I would go for a short walk and take some photos, also wanted to see what the lens was like and then realised why people had a number of focal lengths lol I was used to the 18-55 which was good for wide and normal shots, shooting on the 35mm f.18g I kept saying...too close lol and then having to zoom with my feet its nice to get sharp images with such an easy to use lens, auto focus is sharp and allowed me to set the shot how I wanted changing the focus points.
