Fun shoot this weekend - for Grandeur Skate Shop in Oceanside

They are getting ready to build-out their website, so the images are for graphic design and content on the site.

Nice set Chris and I the way you have used B&W outside and colour inside - a bit like The Wizard of Oz (not you, but... ;) ). And that's a good idea for the football table. I've been trying to figure out how to improve the look of Ina's now that it has moved into my studio / office!

Thanks Pete - yep the two entrance shots are mono, then you descend into a world of color

It is F-dark in the store though - lots of long exposures

Looking forward to seeing your customized table ;)

Thanks Dave and Julian - yep, a nice new challenge, and a chance to try some things out for the first time (indoor 14mm pano and off camera manual fill flash with X-Pro1)

Also interesting to see what current sensors can do with a dark cave of an environment - given a long enough exposure and a good tripod!

The panos were shot at ISO 3200 for example, but I'm dammed if I can tell! :)

They were super chilled dudes to work with (as you'd expect) - looking forward to seeing the final web design

Good idea, Chris (BW outside/color inside) and some fine shots, too.

Do you think the Fuji renders less noisy 3200 than your 5D rig?

Thanks Brian - yep, definitely better at high ISOs than the 5DII - especially shadow noise

ISO is almost a non issue now with the current sensors - can see in the next 5 years that it will become one less thing to worry about.

Really good stuff Chris, I bet you got a load of comments like "wow dude" and "that's sick":). Have you converted? Will we see some skatecam shots next and photographs of you with the crotch of your jeans hanging at knee height?

Totally bro :D
