Enough dark and moody for the moment. This was taken as the sun was setting - very occasionally my husband will do the animals in the evening to allow me to stay out. Funny but true - I had lunch a couple of miles further down the beach at Dungeness. By the time I had walked out here, set up the tripod and waited for the tide to come in, the sound of the water was having an unwanted effect. I stayed put and with legs firmly crossed, waited for the right moment. What we do for art, eh?
If anyone could advise with a silly problem I would be most grateful. I thought I had the perfect non-destructive edit, but when the sky is really pale as it started out from the raw file here, you can't see to remove dust bunnies. I risked it and just did a transparent layer, but of course, I changed my mind about something afterwards. My inelegant solution was to save one file complete with smart filters and then flatten it to do the minor tweaking and save as a second file. As I said... not very elegant.
