i'd crop just above the letters on the bottom edge, my eye keeps dropping down to them. but otherwise it's your usual excellent work of creating interest in the mundane.

I did that crop Beth and could not decide. One of life's hard decisions, crop or not to crop?.
This was my thinking. The logo is, lets say an iconic logo in the bathroom ceramic's department here, the uk. The idea was to leave a tiny bit for the purpose of identification. I did not have the whole word so it was either crop the lot, or leave the evidence.

I did actually prefer the cropped as a visual image [doh]

Thanks for the reply.

Excellent Julian and I too prefer the cropped version. I also like the slightly off-centre placement and the diagonal of crazed glaze. Nice (can one say that about a urinal?!). :)

You can say whatever the boss Mr H will allow :D .

Lesley I also found the cracks interesting and wish I knew how to emphasise them more.

Man with camera in gents loo - now that must have been an interesting few minutes julian! :D

Nice vintage patina
