Thanks Pete. I took a load of pics on my 6D in b+w with an orange filter on the lens. Won’t know for sure how they’ll shape up until we get home again.

They are quite different in feel aren't they? The B&W image is striking, but I find the field and the sky are somewhat disconnected by the dark band of cloud just above the crown of the tree. Maybe lightening that a touch with reconnect the two parts.

Thanks Pete. I see what you mean and now I can’t un-see it lol. I had a play with it but felt it perhaps lost a little in the dramatic feel of the cloud forms . Probably in an ideal world I’d have got a little closer to the tree so that it reached up a little further into the sky (mind you, I’m not sure the farmer would have appreciated me tramping on his crop, though )

Bins aside.... I like the b&w one very much. The colour ones are ok but I find the monochrome version much more captivating.
