Hello Everyone,

I got bitten by the RF bug and I just got my Voigtlander 28mm F2 Ultron lens on Wednesday. At the moment, I am pairing it with my Ricoh GXR with M mount.

Looking to get a film body to go with it and I am thinking of the Bessa but which is the more suitable body? R2M/A, R3M/A or R4M/A?

Welcome Felix. Glad you found us. Although I use rangefinders a lot as well, and do have the first generation Bessa R, @Hamish Gill is probably the best to help with your questions. Have you seen his blog? There might be some help there already.

Pete, yes, Hamish did reply and he suggested a few bodies for me to consider.

Here is part of it:
You want something with 28mm frame lines really so any leica past the m4-p; m6, m7, mp, m-a
voitlander r4a,
- The r2a, r2m and r2 are all useable with 28mm lenses, but you have to guess the framing
ziess ikon,
konica hexar rf ...

So I will now have a look around to see what I can find locally.

I have the Konica Hexar AF, not the RF, but it's my favourite camera by far.

In 2 minds t the moment. Looking at eBay the Jupiters look like a good buy but I am not too sure of the quality of the lenses though.
