Guess the camera :D

That is odd - looks like the foot of a fishing reel!

This photo might give it away a bit but here is the back of it:

BOOOOOOOMMM!!! in ya face Ace!!
Good guess. I was totally lost on this one I'm afraid.

Although, I do enjoy guess the camera game. :)

Hamish is the winner :D

Mine still has the original receipt :D

Btw, there will be another camera to guess from tonight, I doubt anyone will get the answer to it though, its quite specialist and they aren't usually encountered much.

That's a unique looking bit of kit - great name! :D

Its amazing to actually hold, really really ergonomic, its fully automatic and its half frame, so it takes 72 shots on a 36 shot exposure roll. It also zooms :D the cool thing about it is that the film goes through the camera vertically rather than horizontally like other cameras (hence its quite an upright SLR like a video camera). This means that unlike most other half frame cameras the 'normal' shot is horizontal like a full frame camera, just half the size.

Its the 'mark 1' of the range, there was the slightly bigger x4.0:

Then there is the ratehr odd 4000iX, decided to go with the 'original is better' option :D

Here is an example of a frame shot (made up from the 2 half frame) by someone else with the x3.0:

It's quite an ugly little thing ,'/ lol

Its not the prettiest of cameras I grant you that - you see now why I look for cameras like an Agfa Billy Clack or a Kodak Bantam special! Its really comfortable to hold and I guess its probably one of the few cameras that I have that are mass market 80s plastic. Its just nice to be able to shoot half frame (like the Pen FT) but it not cost ££££s to buy, defiantly an interesting point and shoot sort of camera.

I like the look of this camera, landscape half-frame sort of thing. There is one on that eBay now, calling my name...

Be very careful with looking on ebay and cameras.....its addictive...not like I have had loads of cameras being delivered over the last few days and cleared out most of Hamish's spare cameras or anything lol :P

For half frame look at the Agat 18 or 18k as well as the Pen EE, its not difficult to just turn the cameras to give a landscape format lol :D

I saw the Agat in Hamish's sale, but was too late. They look very interesting.

Yes, bloody dangerous having cameras on ebay! :-) I got my latest Vito B only 2 days ago, and I'm already looking at what comes next, which if the price doesn't go too high, might be this Samurai I've got my eye on.
