Guess the camera 3

Here we go, a slightly harder one:

Now, is that a hood or the camera??
I thought we were guessing the camera. Lol

Here is a slight hint (not that it will probably help that much lol) I have just opened the back of it up at found its still loaded with (probably now exposed and expired) 667 polariod film.

Here is the camera, its a Polaroid cr9, it would have been rather hard to guess due to how specialist it is, its used in physics for taking screenshots of oscilloscope screen trails! Basically that massive hood goes over the oscilloscope screen, the experiment happens and the waveform is produced, you then pull the trigger exposing the Polaroid instant film to then add to the report :)

Its a fixed focus though, but still quite interesting, I will see if I can get a back for it to run normal film, I opened up the back of it so I think ive now exposed all of the original film that was in there :( its ISO 3000 lol

Didn't see that coming either.
Specialist or what!! :) are you going to show us some results of what these beasts can do then? :)
More guess the camera!

A bit of imagination and you could do something interesting with that!

Polaroid screen capture of a photo taken on an iPad for eg?

I would need to see what I can do with it, its got a shuttered lens, but no focus, so I guess I could use it on some bellows, unfortunatly I opened the back and saw a stack of 667 polariod films, its ISO 3000 so I am guessing they are all now ruined.

The plan is to see if I can find a replacement back for it, or indeed perhaps try something like wet plate in the future (since its all plastic). THe main issue is the fixed focus though so I will see if I can tweek that to allow for focus otherwise everything would need to be about a foot away from the lens lol.

Give them a go. There's a reasonable chance the centre of the frames in the stack are OK.

Will do, its the first time I would have shot instant film so need to work out when to pull the tab and how long to wait lol what people usually do is throw away the black sheet on top, but if you use bleach you can remove the black gunk and get the negative for the image which can be scanned in - something I didn't know.

I might look at getting an instant film back at some point, would be cool to get an instant result but its quite expensive per shot.
