Critique Welcomed He Left A Flower, So She'd Always Know

Beautiful. But be careful, Davie, there is a touch of the human element in this image. Next thing you know, you'll be photographing real humans!

I can see a time when it will happen Rob, but, it'll only happen in circumstances I like... out in the wilds for example, I can never see myself doing standard portrait or studio work

Have you shown us this image before, Davie? It's a wee bit familiar, and from you...anyway, it's a good photie - there's a story there.

I haven't no, I took it yesterday at The Birks of Aberfeldy

This is so unusual from Davie. Here is what I think must have happened: Davie was walking down that hill while making his way to Loch Etive. He lost his balance and fell. Whilst falling he thought, what the hell, I'm doing nothing else at the moment, might as well snap a fotie while I'm tumbling head over heels involuntarily. :)

I can think of no other reason for why Davie would have snapped this fotie. However, I think it is a lovely fotie, and I would like Davie to fall down hills more often if this is the kind of work he produces while doing so. :)

As Rob said Brian I was having a rare moment of humanity, and as soon as I saw it I thought of a back story ... He leaves a flower every year, just in case she arrives... then she'll always know he waited

Me too. I like them even more when they are completely fabricated. :)

oh yeah, it somehow adds life to them. It helps of course with the fact that a lot of areas I shoot in have a lot of myth and legend around them :D
