Heat photography

I love these, Gianluca. They give me a glimpse of Padua. What is the name of that piazza? (I assume that's what it is.)

By the way I've tried to capture the essence of heat in photos as well.

Thank you, Brian. Actually this is not Padua, but the main piazza in Siena, Tuscany. I bought a very light and providential straw hat there that day.

I am eager to see your heat photography.

I love those images. I have said I see the world mainly in colours. Somehow old age have changed my views on the world and seemingly I see more and Moore🤔 in all shades of Grey. I like it.

First time I’ve seen these, Gianluca. They really are superb and extraordinary. It took me a moment to notice they weren’t queuing for something, just taking cover in the shade of…what? A campanile?

Thank you, Rob! It was a tower: "The tower ('Torre del Mangia' in Siena, Italy) has a square plan with a side length of seven metres and a thickness of almost two metres, and, at almost 87 metres above field level (102 metres up to the lightning rod), is among the tallest ancient towers in Italy" (source: https://www.comune.siena.it/luogo/torre-del-mangia).
I don't know why every time I travel (which is not often) I either find extreme cold or extreme heat.

That day in Siena I bought there, immediately after taking the photos, a handmade hat made locally (or so I was told and I wanted to believe it) in ‘Florentine straw’ and blue in colour, which I still use in summer. It is fantastic, only now it is no longer blue.
