I need to catch up...

I've been distracted from posting here, no real reason why -- Just realized I've not in a while. So here goes!! :p This is gonna be a little bit long...

First, a kind of "off the beaten path" image for me. A superwide pano made in the dead of summer heat and light, then turned monochrome with a cold winter vibe (at least to my eyes).

I visited a friend in eastern Tennessee a few weeks ago and we managed to get a few autumnal shots... just us and half a million of our closest friends (fall in the Smoky Mountains, doncha know...)

Then after I returned home a friend and I went to a lake not too far away early one morning.

This is from the same lake as the last image above.

A little shrouded light from a bayou about an hour from home. This was challenging to process, because it was a mix of warm yellow-green light from the sun (off foliage) and cold blue light (from a clear overhead sky).

And just this afternoon I went to another place to check on the color and ended up grabbing a shot or two. Of all times of the year, I think fall is the best if you have to use 'harsh' daytime light.
