Critique Welcomed Helios testing a 58/2 44

Some recent outings with a nice old Russian, couldn't get the famous swirl on these, but nice and clear results.

Again, the colour rendering is gorgeous and the focus vignetting is subtle and very effective in theses too.

Cheers Pete, I would have placed them altogether but thought these were specific enough to head into this thread. Out of curiosity which of the two railing shots is a more pleasing composition to you?

The second I think even though I usually prefer landscape orientation. The interaction between the verticals and diagonals leads to a very pleasing composition and is supported by the out of focus elements, almost acting like reflections.

A fine set. Lots of interesting things to see in industrial scenes.

Yes, excellent colours and some good framing. Good shadow control in the first, despite the bright sky.
