Hello all

Hi Folks,
I have had an interest in photography for many years. Had an old Zenith camera in my youth...Big old clunker of a beast; but great for learning the relationship between iso, shutter speed & aperture!
Later had a point & shoot film camera until getting a Canon Powershot A70 that re-inspired me.
A couple of years ago I really pushed the boat out & invested in a Nikon D60. I love this camera & get out most weekends to play!
I am an amateur, but hopefully I have made some progress over the past couple of years!
I will be posting some of my latest stuff...& look forward to your comments...good or bad...I am keen to learn & open to any advise available

Richard

If you go to your album, and click on an image to show it full size - then control click on it, and select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS

Then go to a forum and start a post - click the picture icon at the top of the post window (looks like a painting of a tree)

You'll get a pop-up window

Select URL - and paste in the image address you just copied

Click OK - you'll see some text with IMG tags around it - this allows the form to post your image like this

Welcome Richard
yeah, we share our pictures in the forum area... Just oil the topic, start a thread and away you go
If you get stuck, let us know and we we help...
One additional thing to Chris's instructions - make sure you untick the "referance image locally" box
that way it will display large and not as a little thumbnail. All will become clear I'm sure!

D60 is a great camera!
Do you still have the zenit?
We have a couple of members with zenit cameras on here ... One with one that looks like a gun!
Anyway, looking forward to seeing some shots!
Hoe you enjoy the place!

Welcome Richard,

Many of us here are enthusiasts and learn from the others with more experience. They are all willing to share and helps us all improve.

Thank you for that Chris

Hamish, I am not sure what happened to the Zenith...I think I sold it.
Despite the fact it took time to set up (mine didn't have that posh ttl metering) it took great photos.
Not so great for wildlife...as it would scare everything for miles! ;-)
