Hello from Orlando

Hello, new to this forum but been online for years. I am about to retire and dive head first into my photography. I have been taking shots for over 30 years. I want to at some point sell my shots if possible. I do mostly nature and architecture photography. The shot I posted is from a trip near Savannah a couple years ago. I am about to head to Maine and out west to Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. My wonderful wife has not been to the Grand Canyon and we are doing Monument Valley together driving across the country. It is wonderful to meet everyone one on this forum. I will be posting more as I get closer to the big day.

Thanks everyone, it will be an adventure for my wife and myself. We are looking forward to the travel and all the photo opportunities we will have. John, my sister lives over by you in Ruskin. We have been on that coast lots of times. I am from Upstate NY ( Niagara Falls) but found my way to Orlando after 21 years in Germany.

Ok, so where or how to I post more of my photos for advice or comments? I am learning but diving in to this forum.

I might add Lord of the Rings Gianluca. It seems to me at any moment those trees may bend down and grab an unsuspecting traveller. Can you hear them talking amongst themselves?

Welcome Roy. Sounds like a fantastic trip is planned. I was at the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone in 1979 whilst in the midst of a motorcycle tour. Still some of my most special memories. My trusty FTb that I used to document that trip is still part of my camera kit. Sort of like a Timex watch "built to take a licking and keep on ticking". My tripod and self timer got lots of use. Sadly though, they took my Kodachrome away.

I have just realised that the old link showing the 'instructions' for uploading images was broken the the upgrade last year. There are two way, either link to a source where the image is stored (using the media 'button' in the post creation pane) or upload and image that is 1000 px on the longest dimension using sRGB as the 'color space' I usually export an 85% Quality JPEG without sharpening from Lightroom for this purpose.
