the silhouetted one pointing at the sun is really nice too, i think for the same reason as the first one is nice, its a nod to the sky somehow...

The larger dish talks to Voyager 1, which is 10.5 Billion miles away, and transmits back with the power of a fridge light-bulb.

Impressive stuff - it had a big red flashing light on it when it was 'radiating' - I'm thinking you could get a good tan if you stood in the way!

Nerding out with my oldest friend Jonathan - we've known each other since we were five, lived a few streets away from each other, went to school together in Stamford Lincs., and we both ended up living in Southern California - who'd have thought!
