Waiting for the WOW...

wow they look like they mean business.......!!

I like the sense of scale on how big these are with the Jeep in the second to last image.

Great work Chris

Awesome shots mate!
I love the dark sky in the first one!
and great use of fisheye!
the silhouetted one pointing at the sun is really nice too, i think for the same reason as the first one is nice, its a nod to the sky somehow...
really nice, well worth the trip then?

Amazing shots, Chris. I love #2 especially.

This was my favorite too - getting the Dish and the Sun in the same shot with the 15mm fish :)

The larger dish talks to Voyager 1, which is 10.5 Billion miles away, and transmits back with the power of a fridge light-bulb.

Impressive stuff - it had a big red flashing light on it when it was 'radiating' - I'm thinking you could get a good tan if you stood in the way! ;)

Well, not sure anything is really worth 12 hrs behind the wheel in one day - but it was a cool place to visit :\

Here we go - a postcard from the edge :)

Nerding out with my oldest friend Jonathan - we've known each other since we were five, lived a few streets away from each other, went to school together in Stamford Lincs., and we both ended up living in Southern California - who'd have thought!

Retro kitsch postcard PP - Topaz in Photoshop

Pete - that's just the halo from us beaming down using the transporter! ;)
