Just for Show Helvellyn Sunrise

Well a 1.30am start was needed to be up on the top of Helvellyn for sunrise, it was a bit of a hazy affair so had to make best of a bad job, i originally had plans for the first golden light of the day hitting the north side of Striding edge but the hazy conditions changed my plans and set up this composition looking down Swirall edge and too Catstye Cam as the sun rose through the mist. The top image is just below the summit looking over Striding edge.

Center grad and 0.6 Nd grad filters
Fuji Velvia 50 Slide film
Tripod and cable release
