Still the most effective format I think.

Hasselblad 503CW / Zeiss 120mm Macro Planar f1:4.0 CFi / PhaseOne P20 back. ISO 50, 1/30s at f1:16. PP in CaptureOne, LR, Nik ColorFX 4 and PS.

Yes, that does seem more effective. I think it is more to do with the way the lines pull your eyes through the image.

You might be right there Paul. This one is not perfectly symmetrical as I used the dark rib to divide the image. That was a mistake I think the more I look at it. I will redo the merge.

Lovely but do you think maybe a thinner dividing line, it looks like it only belongs to the right side if that makes sense?

It does and is because the rib is more visible in the rear illuminated version. Also, this leaf doesn't index as well for some reason. I'll try again tomorrow I think.
