Wonderful colours Lesley. And a great composition to boot. I like the juxtaposition of circles and 'squares' and the way the vertical line create two sub-frames that reflect the aspect ratio of the main image. Nice!

I would much prefer a weathered old door to a new polished one, and trust me I do like a polished surface...but there is so much more character in a door like this irrespective of where it leads. for me the rusty water marks, the remove catch plate and the scratches around the clasp and lock are what draws my attention. the framing is spot on as with all your work. Colouyrs are great too.....
