Shot this with 300mm f2.8 lens on a hill with dappled light of my daughter's club doing hill intervals. The focus is slightly off in this (was using multipoint AF (seldom do) on 1Div) but this is my favourite shot of the session..
I think the lighting on her face is perfect...
I really like this shot, i think it's one of my favorite of your running shots!
The lighting in general is very nice indeed, I like how the background is lit, that combined with a very nice oof rendering makes for a spot on background I think...
I don't think the focus being on her hand is an issue to be honest, it somehow suits the image ...
Thanks lads. I always go for image first, technical perfection second. You seldom get both spot on if there's action. All the other action shots of this runner were tecnically better but image-wise not as good.
