Give us a chance, Rob, you only put the photo up last night. I very much like the the aesthetic but I am not sure about the bottle. The regular shape of the bottle is not echoed anywhere else, I feel it looks out of place. The reds looked clipped as there seems to be a lack of detail in some parts. But as I said, I do really like the look overall.

Ah, I can see it does indeed say I uploaded it at 8.29 yesterday evening, but that is not actually the case. I uploaded it yesterday morning - I can't remember the time. No matter.
Lack of detail - of course. That's deliberate. It's a tricky image to work out, and is a little dream-like. I don't think clipping is something to get concerned about here either. But, as they say, your mileage may vary.

How strange, has the clock on your computer changed somehow? With respect to the lack of detail I was referring only to the reds on the two flowers, not the whole image in general. I very much like the image in general and well as the idea, I think it is wonderful.

I like the image a lot but I agree with Paul about the bottle. Maybe the fact that the bottle is the only sharp thing in the picture is the reason it may be off-putting. You've certainly made a lovely, dreamy fotie otherwise, though.

Yeah. To be honest, I thought it was just a fun and interesting shot, but no more than that. I quite like the bottle. File under Quirky...

I like the bottle - it's smooth and man made vs the random natural feel of the other parts of the image - I like the contrast/tension
I also like how the reds in nature and man-made echo each other, so despite the contrast, there's a connection
It almost reminds me of a floral print Rob - something that Laura Staircase might sell in their shops (Laura Ashley - bad joke, but I always call them Laura Staircase)

I like the processing and elements here Rob a lot but the composition doesn't quite come together somehow. Worth pursuing though I think.

That's what I feel, Pete. Some parts are reflected in a background window, some not. Don't know what the beer bottle is doing there! It was just a snap, but I like elements of it.
