Hope Valley Barn

Lovely Nick.
The XT-1 and the 55-200mm is a really fabulous combination and you have captured the essence of a beautiful place.

Agree with you Pat. I don't have chance to try XT1 till now, but I borrowed my friend's 55-200mm and tried with my XE1 and this len is just totally awesome

Sometimes timing and light come together then it's just press the shutter :)
Thanks for the comments :)
The 55-200 is a lens I like to use for landscapes, although in low light it's quite slow, and hunts a bit. If it was f2.8 all the through it would be fantastic.

Lovely shot Nick and I like the compressed view very much. My eye is drawn slightly to the red cliff though. Have you considered cropping just below that?
Actually the red cliff is the rather darker bracken being lit by the sun, I'm happy with it as it stands, I might look at changing the saturation down a tad. I like compressing views I was out shooting yesterday and used the big lad as much as the wide.
