Thanks Brian. These are what i see the Merrill's do and be overly analytical, yet is does work to an extent for documentary.
The Engine broke down and the story I heard , after replacing the big ends, with the engine in place, they went to sea, not getting too far when the engine ceased , to find a bolt had come loose . With the need to take a closer look in the workshop they needed to take the engine out. Usually in this type of Trawler the engines are accessed from the rear of the wheel house, obviously not in this case, where they needed to saw the deck open. It was at sea this week so I presume all's back to normal.

What a super documentary series, Julian. You get a real sense of strain and struggle.

Thanks Pete. It was certainly tight and no room for error as far as the engine slipping onto someone. But it was secure and done as these things need to be.
