How to link from Flickr?

I stopped using Flickr four years ago, but just a few minutes ago managed to sign in and pay for a two-year subscription. Here it is for the curious: https://www.flickr.com/photos/robmac1/albums/

But I can’t remember how to place an image here. Help, please…

I suppose it works this way, but I'm not sure my directions are 100% correct:

1- Click the icon "Media" in the editor toolbar:



2- A popup window will open:



3- In the "Enter media URL" paste the URL of your Flickr image:



4- In this forum editor you should visualize something like:

[MEDIA=flickr]2qt2GQu[/MEDIA]

Prerequisite: The image must be public.

Note 1: In this forum the preview doesn't seem to work.

Note 2: When you hover over the image you get many links added by Flickr (social platforms, logo, title and author of the photo, copyright notes) that I don't remember seeing in @Brian Moore 's posts. So there must be at least one other different way to do it. Perhaps @Brian Moore can provide a better answer.

click the share arrow under the image. i use the bbcode and take out the crap part of the code so it doesn't have the link and the name & title text.

I apologize for having tried the thing without knowing a bit of how Flickr works (I don't use it). Your advice @Beth Carter seems a lot more simple and effective.

your photo implicitly stated that there will be no miracles here. and yet you performed a small miracle by posting a pic from flickr. half the time it does some funny stuff when i try. just saying it's an ironic photo pick.
